Event Lead Description for Fall Event 2016
Sacramento Valley Spark is excited to announce that we are looking for Event Leads to fill various different leadership roles for our Fall event on October 29th & 30th! This volunteer position will require a high level of accountability and strong skills in organization and communication. Due to this being a leadership role, the application process will include an interview session with an elected Event Committee member from SVS.
It takes energetic Leads to stage a successful event and manage hordes of volunteers! While some Leads carry over from event to event, if you feel your experience fits the description below, contact us at www.sacvalleyspark.org or just show up at a planning meeting (TBA). The team leads are crucial in running a smooth event. You will be responsible for delegating tasks to other volunteers within your team and meeting weekly/monthly goals. You will be responsible and liable for keeping SVS board members in the loop with all event dealings. You will be responsible for promoting the event 3-4 times a week and maintaining a good relationship with the burner and non burner communities. You will be the face of this event and should always act professional and maintain a high level of social etiquette on all social media outlets. The event leads will be responsible for attending all planning meetings and will be expected to help set up- pre event and break down- post event. The event leads will need to communicate regularly with other volunteers as well as SVS and consistently wrangle in other volunteers as needed.
