More than 600 participants, including mutant vehicles, marching bands and arts groups, will bring the spirit of Mardi Gras to Sacramento during the Feb. 26 City of Trees Parade.
The first-time parade travels down Capitol Mall and into Historic Old Sacramento. The parade starts at 5 p.m. allowing the action to transition from, dusk until dark.
Sacramento Valley Spark is one of the nonprofits supporting the newly renamed Creativity Collabrative, the event’s lead organizer.
In addition to SVS’s decorated float participants, the organization in inviting members put their “Radicial Self-Expression” on display by walking or riding their burner-bike IN the parade.
